Hey Y'all, I'm BAAACCCKKKK! :D

It's been about 7 years since my last post. It's been quite a journey, filled with learning, growing and creating, so I'm very excited about blogging again. There is a lot to share, so hang tight!

So a little about myself for those who are new......

1. My name is Kim (surprise lol). I was born in the beautiful country of Trinidad and Tobago, but migrated to the US when I was a child. To grow between two different cultures is truly a blessing; to be able to experience the warmth of my homeland and its beautiful colorful people, to the land of dreams and endless opportunity.
2. I do not have a favorite color, each color expresses a part of myself.
3. If ever you lose me at a party, you have a 89% chance of finding me at the buffet or anywhere that has food. I'm very open minded and believe in trying everything at least 3 times. Fun Fact: I've never tried something that I did not like. I LOVE FOOD. It's one of few things that brings people together, and is a wonderful blend of cultures.
4. Animals > Humans. Sorry, not sorry.
5. Music, art, nature and poetry are my escapes from reality.
6. I've been told I'm a great writer; my dream in life is to one day write a book.
7. After being laid off from my job last year, I decided to take a leap of faith and invest in myself. I started my journey in entrepreneurship and I'm very excited to see where it goes.
8. I'm very passionate about justice, animal rights, and civil rights.
